:: JustWordz DT Day! ::

Happy Friday!

Even though Christmas is over, I want to keep making Christmas cards for next holiday season.  I don't know about you, but I find when I finally get into the mood for Christmas (around September!), I find it too much of a rush to get all of my holiday cards done!  So one of my new year's resolutions is to NOT sit on making my holiday cards!

This week I decided to create a "mini" card for JustWordz' DT day.
I stamped the Inkadinkado image onto X-press It Blending paper with Memento 'Rich Cocoa'. I thought it would be cool to just shade the image with Copic's Warm Grey series.
I think it turned out not toooo bad.  Let me know what you think.... :)

Embellishing the berries on Mr. Snowman's hat (and card border), I used
Platinum liquid pearls.  I took the "Believe" sentiment from the
JustWordz "Christmas Time" set and heat embossed it with ColourBox 'Chestnut' ink
and clear embossing powder.  The two toned ribbon is from American Crafts.
To brighten up the snowflakes, I added some Stardust stickles to them and also
to the sentiment (once heat embossed).  The patterned paper I used is from
MME's "Holly Jolly Christmas" 6x6 collection.

Check out some of the other DT creations for some more inspiration!

Thanks for dropping by and have a great weekend!

Gorgeous card Samantha. How cool to "colour" an image in shades of grey. It turned out awesome & a good start for next year's cards. I didn't even get any out this Christmas.

Hugs, Heather

Thats a clever idea to keep making Christmas cards while still in the mood. I'll have to try that too... Your card is really cute, and I love the sentiment... Have a wonderful day.
