:: Birthday Sundaes Challenge #27: Belated Bday Card ::

I think we've all done it one time or another... have forgotten a friend or loved one's birthday!

This week's Birthday Sundaes challenge is to have created a belated birthday card. I wanted to make a fairly simple card for this challenge.
Earlier this week, I was in my local Homesense and discovered that they were selling 12x12 My Minds Eye 12x12 paper packs for a whopping 5.00 dollars!  I fell for the “Fine and Dandy” collection and decided that along with MME’s Stella Rose Mabel “Little Lady”, I was going to use the “True Blue” Fabulous paper.

During a trip to one of my local scrap stores, I came across a stamp set that I have been wanting to purchase for a while but was having trouble getting my hands on it! I have adored Stamping Bella’s “Arthur and Annie” for a while and now I finally have it!
To create the sentiments, I created my own on my trusty computer and printed it out.  I then stamped Imaginisce word bubble stamp on both sentiments and cut them out and applied pop-dots on the back.

Other products I used:  Ranger’s Liquid pearls in “Gold”, Stickles in “Stardust”, Primsacolour pencil crayon in “Beige”, “Jade”, “French Gray 20%”, and Gamsol (odourless solvent to blend prismas in the word balloons and background).

This week Sabrina joins us for this week’s belated birthday challenge.  Why not check out her card creation, along with the DT creations at the Birthday Sundaes blog?  The cards are spectacular!

On a sad note, the Birthday Sundaes DT will be saying goodbye to one of our members, Viviana.  I wish you the best in your future crafty adventures and hope that you’ll come back and participate in future challenges! I’d like to introduce our new DT member, Laurie of Scraps by Sissy, who will start her term on October 2nd!

Thanks for stopping by!
