This was a sympathy card I made last week for one of my co-workers (who has become a regular customer of my cards). She unfortunately received bad news that her mother-in-law passed away earlier last week.
I have been discovering and playing with digital stamps and images lately and could not resist a beautiful lily 4-pack from Doodle Pantry. Using copics, I coloured the stems and flowers with 0, G24, W1, W2, W3, W4, Y15, Y17, Y21, YG03, YG63. The patterned papers are from 7Gypsies "Conservatory" 8x8 pack, Graphic45's "Le Romantique", My Mind's Eye Stella Rose "Hattie" and copic paper for the digital image and sentiment. I embellished my card with some sheer ivory ribbon (from my ribbon stash) and embellished the floral centre with yellow stickles and edged with card with gold liquid pearls.
I've been quite busy this week (busy spending my time and money in Buffalo, USA) and haven't had an opportunity to create a card for online summer card camp (week 2), but with the weekend here, I am hoping to be able to create one and post it on the weekend (before the challenge runs out!) S:o)
I must confess -- each time I log in to check out the class gallery, I am in awe of just how much talent there is in this class! Let me tell you, it's nothing short of... AMAZING! I hope my card will do justice! S;o)
Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by!

This is absolutly stunning Samantha! I love that touch of glitter on the centre of the flowers! Such a beautiful sympathy card :)
Your card is very pretty.
Sympathy cards are hard ones to make, this one is perfect.
As for leaving some cash in the good ol' US....I have just left some there myself, teehee.
